Bio

Sharon Guskin began exploring the ideas on the afterlife examined in THE FORGETTING TIME when she worked at a refugee camp in Thailand as a young woman and​,​ later​,​ served as a hospice volunteer soon after the birth of her first child. Most recently​,​ she has been studying these concepts from a Buddhist perspective. She’s been a fellow at Yaddo​,​ Virginia Center for the Creative Arts​,​ Blue Mountain Center​,​ and Ragdale​,​ and has degrees from Yale University and the Columbia University School of the Arts. She also teaches Buddhist meditation. In addition to her novels​,​ she's served as a writer and producer of award-winning documentary films​,​ including STOLEN and ON MEDITATION. The Forgetting Time has been published in over 19 countries to date and it's an international bestseller.
